POW WOW (Flat Bay)

The Bay St. George Annual Powwow is a Cultural event that allows  people to come and celebrate their culture. We have traditional Dancers, Drumming groups, Mi'Kmaq artist etc. Come enjoy a fun alcohol free weekend. Our Founding Families Exhibit

The descendants of the founding families have put together an exhibit of life in Stephenville village during the 1930s. The display is open at 10 am to 4 pm on July 16, 17, 18, 19 & 20 . Traditional music will play from 2-3 pm each day during the 5 day event and traditional food samples will be served by descendants of the founding families.  Donations accepted with appreciation.

This summer on July 11, 18, 25 and  August 01, & 08  join us for a Bonfire & Music on the Beach. There's nothing like singing around a camp fire and roasting marshmallows. Join us at Stephenville beach across from the golf club.  Don't worry there's plenty of parking along the roadside.  Bring your chair and marshmallows and your own musical instrument if you have one.  It's fun for the whole family.
