Harmon Seaside Links was originally designed as a 9-hole course for US servicemen stationed at the Ernest Harmon Air Force Base in the 1960s. The course now boasts a Graham Cooke designed 9-hole extension; the combined holes provide a challenging 18-hole golf experience unique to the island.
Bordering on scenic Bay St. George, Harmon’s ocean breeze adds a soothing feel to the course while at the same time requiring a player to heed the prevailing winds on a course that combines a true links experience with moderately treed holes.
With a panoramic view of the hills surrounding the Stephenville area, golf enthusiasts will appreciate the finer details this course has to offer. Challenging rough, deep greens and wide fairways provide a variety of options for player of all skill levels.
